They're not the same thing.
Eton is a "public school" meaning it teaches boys from 14-18 through their GCSEs and A Levels. It's fee-paying, and whilst there is an entrance exam, it's not particularly difficult, and the main barrier for most people going there would be the money!
Cambridge is consistently ranked in the top universities in the world, and has been one of the leading degree-awarding institutions for hundreds of years. Famous alumni include legendary scientists like Sir Isaac newton, and statesmen such as William Pitt.
So although you're not comparing two things the same, there's no doubt that Cambridge is a far higher academic standard. But it's a lot cheaper to attend!
