They're really very different animals and it depends on what sort of pet you're looking for.
I would recommend a hamster for most people because ferrets are a lot of work if you want to care for them properly. Hamsters can be quite happy in a cage but ferrets are much more active and really need about as much space as a Jack Russell.
I think that hamsters make poor pets as they are nocturnal and sleep during the day. They can be quite noisy at night. For me, it would be ferrets every time (but expect to give just as much attenetion as you would a dog). Nosniboro
Ferrets have been used for centuries in rodent control and extermination and has a natural instinct to hunt and kill mice, rats, rabbits, etc (any rodent). Ferrets natural instinct might perceive any rodent type pet as prey and attack mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, they should not be allowed to interact or be housed together. Yes, If you keep them together
they will both fight for it but you will probably find them both dead as well as if only one of them would be killed it would be the hamster because gerbils carry a disease that is toxic to hamsters.
It stops being hungry for a while. Nothing, ferrets are carnivores (meat eaters) and perceive rodents as prey
A ferret needs to have a very large cage. A hamster cage would be too small and is not appropriate for a ferret.
I don't think guinea pigs actually EAT hamsters. They may get in a fight though. Anyways, don't even try to do that! What are you a hamster abuser?
unless the space between cage bars are not too big.
yes they can, i have given both my ferrets pork. well cooked with NO seasoning.
No. Ferrets are carnivourous and may attack a hamster
Well, I suppose so, but it's not that common to eat compared to pork, or beef. But some people hunt for Ferret's, so yes, I guess they can. Hope this helped!
A crow could possibly eat a baby ferret
As long as the pork is cooked, it would be okay for ferrets, avoid highly processed meats like sausage
A ferret will almost certainly kill and eat a guinea pig if it had the chance.
Yes, they eat pork but they don't eat beef.
yes she eat pork
Muslims don't eat pork
C. It depends on their sizes if the owl is small and the ferret is big then it is possible but ussually i think the owl will eat the ferret. It depends on sizes, strenth and hungrynes! if its really hungry it will try to eat the owl!
Jehovah's Witnesses can eat pork if they wish, as long as it is properly bled. Jews and Muslims do not eat pork.
That depends on why you don't eat pork. If it is for religious reasons, you might be a Jew or a Muslim. If you don't eat pork because you don't eat meat, you are a vegetarian.
they can eat anything but nothing with pork. and they cant eat anything that eats meat.
Ferrets eat meat, that is their diet as they are carnivores.
