Lets just say that, from what I've seen of bus drivers, while they may also be required to hold a CDL and are considered professionals, I certainly wouldn't consider them to be on our level in any way, shape, or form.
That aside, as for which job is better, it's really situation dependent. I'm not a people person, and would probably end up going on a spree killing if I had to deal with obnoxious passengers all day, every day. So bus driving is probably not for me. Your situation might be different.
