I believe hollowpoints are better for impact trauma and pointed are better for piercing deeper and long range accuracy/speed
Plenty such as squirrel, sparrow, groundhogs, racoons and more depending on the ammo your using I sugest pellets pointed or hollow point.
Usually a pointed pellet will have the most penetration but the Hollow-point will have the most knock-down power. Where as a pointed pellet may pass right through a small target if it doesn't hit anything solid like a bone,. A hollow-point will mushroom and tear a big hole.
Hunting pellets. They are designed to mushroom on impact. Sometimes they are called hollow point pellets.
.22 caliber may be a few FPS slower but it will have more knock down power and hit harder. I also suggest using hunting pellets called hollow-point pellets
Instead of a pointed tip, the tip of the bullet is a somewhat cone shaped hollow.
Yes, because the difference between a standard round and a hollow point is only the mushroom at impact.
They are called hollow-point or hunting pellets. Check H&N pellets they are well made.
Use a Pellet gun or rifle. Pellets deform on impact and make a clean kill. BB do not deform and are a poor choice for hunting. Use Hollow point pellets for hunting.
Air Rifle pellets come in 4 basic types. Flat nose(Wadd-cutters) for targets. Pointed for distance. Hollow point for hunting and Round point pellets are a universal pellet. They also come in different weights. Light weighted pellets will fly faster but have a tendency to drift off target over a long distance. Heaver pellets fly slower but straighter as a general rule. Obviously a heavy pellet has more knockdown power than a light pellet. You need to try different pellets in your rifle. It has been found that some pellets respond better and differently in different air rifles. So you need to try a variety to find out which one is best for your rifle.
Yes. I suggest a head shot using hollow point or waddcutter pellets.
A head shot with hollow point pellets would be best.
Yes But I suggest you use hollow point pellets for a clean kill.
