Greenland gets as low as minus 70 Celsius in the winter that is a very punishing environment usually these temperatures occur a little further north than that of the north ice weather station winds are also very strong in Greenland. Russia can still get very cold down to -68 Celsius on average though Greenland is colder because it lies very close to the north pole the far north of Greenland is 83 degrees north. The north pole can see temperatures as low as -78.5 Celsius.
list of the coldest places on earth in order
1. Antarctica
2. north pole
3. Greenland
4. Russia
Russia is much colder then Greenland.
Greenland is colder than Iceland. It is a peice of greenland that is cold very cold.
Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
No
It would be a lot colder and take up more space than Greenland currently does already.
It all depends on where you are in the state. But for the most part they are pretty similar.
It colder
Greenland. Iceland is warmer in the winter than New York.
No, Iceland is cold but Greenland is colder. The Sahara desert might be more of an opposite to Greenland.

Greenland is almost 21x the area of Iceland. Both islands are sparsely populated, but Iceland has about 300,000 people, while Greenland has only about 50,000 people. Greenland is 10-20 degrees F colder than Iceland. Greenland is mostly (80%) covered by the Greenland ice sheet which is 2-3 km thick on average. Iceland has glaciers, but nothing close to the Greenland ice sheet.
Only South America qualifies as a continent. The rest (Greenland, Russia, Mexico) are countries.
I think that the Yakutsk region is the coldest region, even colder than Siberia.
