Gold.
Gold has a specific gravity of 19.29, silver has a specific gravity of 10.46. Gold is heavier.
by far gold
solid gold and silver is more expensive and even heavier. Gold and silver is pretty so being plated gives the same effect.
Silver is less dense than gold! Pure silver has a density of 10.49 g·cm−3 whereas gold has density of 19.30 g·cm−3 The principal reason why gold is more dense is that the atoms are much heavier. Silver has an atomic weight of 107.9 , gold has an atomic weight of 196.97.
because it is more rare and silver is more heavy there for less portable | | Have to partially disagree with the above statement. Gold is more rare than silver while it is still in the ground. There is actually more processed gold in the world than silver. Silver is not heavier than gold. It is heavier in 'value' than gold and therefor not as portable. So why is gold more valuable than silver? Short answer - because people made it more valuable. Apparently, they like gold better. | | Gold also has more valuable industrial uses then silver for example: gold is more resistant to corrosion. Gold is also a good conductor of electricity, particularly because it resists corrosion i.e. silver actually conducts better then silver until it begins to corrode (charging metal tends to speed up corrosion). So it's not just that we 'like' gold more, there are practical reasons why gold is more valuable.
Gold is heavier,
Gold has a specific gravity of 19.29, silver has a specific gravity of 10.46. Gold is heavier.

Based on the periodic table, gold is heavier than silver.
Gold has a density of 19.3, almost twice as heavy as silver at 10.5
Gold has a specific gravity of 19.29, silver has a specific gravity of 10.46. Gold is heavier.
solid gold and silver is more expensive and even heavier. Gold and silver is pretty so being plated gives the same effect.
Gold and silver are different mass due to their different atomic weights. For instance gold is heavier than silver because Gold's atomic number is 79 while silver is 47.
gold is found in fewer amounts then silver moles of silver are heavier than moles of gold silver has a bright gray color gold has a bright yellow color
Gold is always going to be heavier than silver, its the amount of it in the ring that will determine the weight.
I list them in order of heaviest to lightest:Gold, Silver, Iron, Titanium. Gold has no ore and ores are always less dense than the metal.
