Places where people live on average of over 100 years old are called Blue Zones. There are many reasons as to why these people live so long so no one knows for sure. Things such as
-Family relationships
People treat the elderly as though they are young. Thus the elderly don't sit around all day doing nothing. (For example a 101 year old man who lived in a blue zone rode his bicycle over 4 miles to his nephews house EVERY MORNING and in the evening would tend to about 5 acres of his land by hand, usually using a machete.)
Women and men are treated as equals as well and children exercise and play most of the day.
-Diet
Many people within these areas have an extremely healthy diet consisting of many different things.
-Climate
Most Blue Zones are located in slightly secluded areas and have a warm climate that isn't quite hot but not cold either.
