which material used in glassline reactors? What is glassline material ? Basic
Acidic material
Glass is very resistant to chemical attack making it one of the most suitable materials for use in acidic conditions.
In the PWR the top houses the steam outlet, not inlet, and coolant flow is applied to the pressure vessel inlet connections. A glass lined vessel would simply not be durable enough for a 40 or hopefully 60 year life. If it started cracking or peeling off, how would it be repaired?
You can use one of the cleaners available in the market to clean the water pipe line.
PVB stands for polyvinyl butyral. The number one use for PVB is in the making of safety glass for windshields on cars. PVB resins are used in the making of inks, paints, binders, and coatings.
platinum Expanding on the answer above, the best material for an electrode really depends on the application. When looking at electrode materials, you need to consider three factors: 1. Electrical Conductivity- Different materials resist the flow of electric current through them at varying levels. Copper, Gold, and Platinum are very good conductors. Alloys, Steel, Iron, and other metals are good conductors as well. 2. Corrosion Resistance- The electrolysis of water is very corrosive to the electrode material. If you use the wrong electrode material, you will have to replace the electrodes often. Platinum and 316L Stainless steel are the best options as far as corrosion resistance. Copper is very poor at resisting corrosion. 3. Price- Though platinum is probably the best overall choice for electrode material, it is very expensive. When designing a large, high output electrolyser the electrodes need to be large and have a lot of surface area. Making large electrodes out of platinum would not be an option for most. In conclusion, when choosing an electrode material you need to consider the above variables. In my opinion 316L stainless steel is the the best option for home made electrolysers because it is relatively cheap, has high corrosion resistance, and is a good electrical conductor. This material is also available in many different prefabricated shapes and sizes that can be custom fitted to your application. If price is not a concern, then platinum is the best material.
If you are a smart guy, you can make a nuclear bomb, or a nuclear reactor...
Glass is very resistant to chemical attack making it one of the most suitable materials for use in acidic conditions.
A bus reactors a devise installed in a bus to maintain system voltage when the load on the bus changes by releasing reactive power as usable power to bolster the voltage. A line reactor is placed in line at point of use or just after a transformer to maintain a stable amperage to the user, capacitor.
You would think so, but that would depend on what kind of glass you are using.
In stained glass, they use things in normal glass but add colors and make it thinner.
I can use the words: cheval glass, gaper, hand glass, imager, looking glass, pier glass, polished metal, reflector, seeing glass or speculum.
you would use tempered glass. == Every glass is a TEMPERED glass {during manufacturing} The material{glass}used in windshield is called TOUGHENED GLASS.At the time of an accident this glass breaks into harmless granules and so the persons inside the car are safe.
you use salt
Highly base(Sodium hydroxide) slowly reacts with glass to form sodium silicate. The Glass lined reactor got corroded and life will be very less. jayakumar.R
We can use a diamond (or other very hard material) knife glass cutter.
As we know that the glass attracts heat and prohibits heat from escaping from indoors and makes the interior hot . so glass is not a good building material.
A breeder reactor is one type of nuclear reactor, but not a type that is in general commercial use at the present time
