The correct name for the coil that leads to the spark plug is an ignition coil. If you go to a parts store and ask for anything else they will not know what you are talking about.
With the CB 650 (double over head cam) the left coil leads go to 1 and 4 and the right coil goes to 2 and 3. I'm not sure if its the same with the sohc
locate coilpack, take out 4 screws ,disconnect leads to new coil pack in order then simply replace new pack and screws.
The wires running from the coil to the spark plugs are the leads.
