The small arms that are molded directly onto the handle. These are thin and designed poorly. They undergo a lot of stress and will break given enough pulls. My 2000 esteem has gone through two so far ( @ 65,000 miles).
remove the door panel. The door handle is fastened with two 10mm nuts. just unscrew those and if has a lock, remove the linkage clip from the lock to be able to remove the door handle. Installation is in reverse order. I just replaced mine today.

It is under the hood on the drivers side. Close to the windshield. The Suzuki Esteem, has two fuse blocks. You can find one of them under the hood, on drivers side, but it's another one under the dash, drivers side right side to the hood opener handle.

Usually you can take a block of wood and a C clamp and that usually works on any caliper, I have even taken the caliper completely off and used the handle of a hammer by putting the handle inside the caliper piston and applying downward force. However im having trouble compressing mine now.
No conversion, it would need to be replaced with a single handle faucet.
