The geologic period that began 66 million years ago and ended 23.03 million years ago is known as the Paleogene period. It is a common misconception that its predecessor, the Cretaceous period, was 65 million years ago; however, this is incorrect as the Cretaceous ended 66 million years ago.

The whole time period you mention is encompassed within the Mesozoic era. 208 million years ago is at the beginning of the Rhaetian stage, which is the last stage of the Triassic period. A stage is a section of time lasting a few million years. 200 million years ago, the Rhaetian and the Triassic ended, and the Jurassic period's first stage, the Hettangian, began. 146 million years ago is 1 million years before the end of the Tithonian stage, the last stage of the Jurassic period.

To sum it up, almost the entire timeframe is in the Jurassic period, and it encompasses all but the last 1 million years of the Jurassic, but the timeframe began 8 million years before the Jurassic during the end of the Triassic period.
