The type of air that keeps a beach ball inflated is kinetic energy.
The material must influence the bounce of a ball: consider an inflated rubber ball versus an inflated aluminum ball. The difference might have to do with the elasticity of the material.
Gas particles travel from an area of higher pressure to lower pressure when air leaks out of an inflated ball.
Beach Ball Bounce was created in 2007.
Answer: It doesn't matter about the size, it matters about the weight. If an beach ball weigh .2280 grams, and a golf ball weighs 1.258 lbs., the golf ball will sink but the beach ball will float. Even though the beach is bigger than the golf ball.
Not all balls are solid. A tennis ball is hollow, as is a beach ball.
Bad form. A skilfully thrown bowling ball travels on a curve.
On apple OS X , if any process gets hanged or stuck you get a tiny beach ball which keeps spinning until it force closes. This is called "Beach Ball on Death" - BBOD

If it is a solid rubber ball it is not inflated. A hollow ball can be inflated. The more pressure inside, the "harder" the ball will be and the higher it will bounce. To much pressure and you risk rupturing the "rubber" bladder.
Just how easily a beach ball squashes depends on the pressure of the air inside it; the lower the internal pressure compared to the pressure outside the ball, the easier it is to squash. Generally beach balls cannot be inflated to a pressure much greater than atmospheric pressure without bursting so the are normally quite easy to squash.
Hockey
to check if a basketball or any ball is inflated properly, the referee must bounce the ball on the floor to see if it comes back up to a appropriate height for the players. :)

A trick to taking out the wrinkles from a soccer ball that has not been inflated for a while is to let some air out of the ball. Then, air the ball up again while heating the ball with a hair dryer.
A beach ball is a large inflatable ball, which is ideally suited for playing games on the beach.
beach volleyball is a game you play at the beach with friends or family. beach volleyball ball is a soft ball you play with.
It's really quite easy to inflate a beach ball by mouth. Just follow these steps: 1. Flatten out the beach ball so that it isn't folded. 2. Open the valve on the top of the beach ball. 3. Take a breath, then seal your lips over the valve. 4. Blow into the ball, taking breaths every few seconds. 5. Repeat step 4 until the ball is fully inflated. It might take longer to inflate depending on the ball's size. If it is an ordinary ball about 16-26 inches, it should take about 1-2 minutes. If it is a larger ball about 48-70 inches, it could take about 5-10 minutes.
