Trees and water, either one of these. I think so because we cut down trees, but later the industries lessen the impact of the removal of raw material because the plant more trees. And I think water because we pollute it and make dams that cause a lot of problem, but at the same time we help by cleaning the water...exc.

What is the environmental impact of extracting salt from the sea?

The amount of salt extracted from the sea water is insufficient to have any significant environmental impact, and present rates of extraction are nowhere near high enough to cause one. Ocean salinity is the result of cyclical process that began when the first drop of water became part of planet Earth. The extraction of salt from the sea, just adds another step to this cycle. The oceans naturally vary in salinity from about 3.1 - 3.8 %, due to river inflows, localized precipitation rates, ocean currents, up-wellings, and other causes. These natural variations are much larger than present rates of extraction can possibly cause, even in areas close to extraction operations.

What agent of erosion causes material to tend to move downhill?

Gravity is the agent of erosion that causes material to tend to move downhill. As gravity pulls on the material, it causes it to slide, roll, or flow downhill. This process can lead to the transportation of sediment and the formation of landforms such as slopes and valleys.

How is electrolysis used in the extraction of zinc from its ore?

Electrolysis is used in the extraction of zinc from its ore by passing an electric current through a solution containing zinc ions. This process causes the zinc ions to gain electrons and form solid zinc metal, which can then be collected.

How is electrolysis used in the extraction of metal from its ore?

Electrolysis is used in the extraction of metals from their ores by passing an electric current through a molten or dissolved metal compound. This process causes the metal ions to gain or lose electrons, resulting in the deposition of pure metal at the electrode.

What happens to light when it is absorbed by a material?

When light is absorbed by a material, it is converted into other forms of energy, such as heat or chemical energy. This process causes the material to become warmer or undergo a chemical reaction.

What are the causes of environmental hazards?

One of the causes of environmental hazard is heavy metals. However, light pollution, Mercury, and molds are also other environmental hazards.

What are environmental causes?

What is causes of asthma?

The causes of asthma are a mixture of genetic and environmental factors.

What ethical issues are there with metal extraction?

The ethical issues with metal extraction is that it uses fossil fuels which which causes a large carbon footprint. It damages the ground around it and it causes pollution due to burning furnaces which can be a contribution to globel warming :)

What is the name of the process that causes mantle movement?

The process that causes mantle movement is called mantle convection. This occurs when heat from the Earth's core causes the mantle material to heat up and rise towards the surface, then cool and sink back down in a continuous cycle.

Which statement about natural selection is true Overproduction of offspring drives environmental changes. Differential reproduction causes environmental changes. Environmental changes determine which?

The statement "Differential reproduction causes environmental changes" is true. Natural selection favors individuals with traits that are better suited for their environment, leading to the differential reproduction of those individuals. Over time, this process can drive changes in a population's genetic makeup in response to environmental pressures.
