tenor,soprano,alto,baho or bass
Baritone, Tenor, Alto, and Soprano.
Typical voice parts in a chorus are soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Sometimes there is a coloratura soprano, who often sings higher than other sopranos. There can be baritone, which overlaps with tenor and bass. There can be a deep bass or basso profundo who singer lower than other basses.
In a standard SATB (Soprano/Alto/Tenor/Bass) choral arrangement, the soprano voice sings the highest vocal part written on the music staff. The soprano part is typically sung by a female, although male sopranos do exist in some men's groups. The soprano part is sometimes divided into multiple parts-Soprano 1 typically the highest, Soprano 2 lower, Soprano 3 even lower, etc.
(from lowest to highest) baritone, tenor, alto, and finally soprano. -- The lowest mail singing voice is the Bass. then Baritone, then tenor and counter tenor. In a mixed choir its Bass, tenor alto and then soprano
Alto
your voice is low if you are a alto ,your voice is high if you are a suprano
an Alto That's not entirely accurate. There are actually two female vocal types between tenor (not actually a female voice) and soprano. They are contralto, and mezzo-soprano. This may be splitting hairs a bit, but Alto is not actually a voice type, but is instead a range of notes. The voice type that sings in the alto range is called contralto.
Soprano and alto are usually sung by women, and soprano sings in a higher range. Tenor and bass are usually sung by men, and tenor sings in a higher range.
soprano
Great singer will not limit themselves on one category. In case of Christina, I think that she is a soprano. But I believe that Christina can sing an Alto song beautifully with an Alto timbre. She is gifted so much both color of voice and vocal ranges. So I think we should forget about classifying her voice type because she is a rare case. But guess what! It takes time, practice, luck, a good training and musical talent in order to become a rare case like that and you can be one of them.
I believe Monica Is an alto 1 :) highest alto part ;)
lyric soprano (considers herself an alto)
alto is a voice part. for female there are 4 voice parts. soprano 1(high range) soprano 2(medium high range) mezzo-soprano(medium with a darker tone. also know as a "belter") and alto(lower range). So an alto is a lower female voice.
Bass is the lowest voice-part. It goes (from lowest to highest): bass, baritone, tenor, contra-alto, alto, mezzo-soprano, soprano
she is an alto due to her throaty voice/low vibrato, but can go easily into a "falsetto"/"head voice" that can be mistaken for a soprano.
Alto's are the lower voice range of female singers. In choirs, there can be different types of altos as well: Alto 1, Alto 2, and contra-alto. Contra altos are women who can also sing male parts.
