Wooden
It all depends on the stick that you buy. There are wooden sticks and composite sticks. The Wooden sticks are much heavier than composite sticks so most goalies prefer composite. Usually the Composite sticks are about 600 to 700 grams.
Yes they do. And the reason why is because composite hockey sticks have flex usually at the middle part of the shaft or lower part of the shaft by the blade. A hockey stick flexing can be slighty compared to putting mashed potatoes on your spoon, pulling back, and letting it fly.
These kinds of sticks are made of composite and are harder to break than wooden sticks. They are the best kind of stick for an advanced player.
There are many kinds of composite sticks such as fiberglass, aluminum, graphite, kevlar, and titanium. Overall, yeah. Wood sticks break a lot easier
Sea urchins do NOT shoot there spines. They can simply let them pop out (sort of like a porcupine). Most people make this mistake... neither a porcupine or sea urchin SHOOT there spines. They do harden and stick out farther but they DO NOT SHOOT THEM!
You can cut a composite stick the exact same way as a wooden stick. Use the same type of saw either a regular hand saw or a power one, and cut to the desired length. Keep the cap from the end of the stick and put it where you made the cut.
