Which term describes an observable fact event or circumstance?
Answer this question… Phenomenon
That is a rather broad question. I would assume that it is a penomenon that occurs in space. by the dictionary a phenomenon is: 1. a fact, occurrence, or circumstance observed or observable: to study the phenomena of nature. 2. something that is impressive or extraordinary. 3. a remarkable or exceptional person; prodigy; wonder. What term is used to describe the fact that different genes in an organism often provide differences in observable features?
Well every gene in the human genome codes for something different. The fact that variety exists is determined by the alleles of that gene. The human genome has over 35,000 genes that all work together to form a persons genotype. Observable features are an organisms phenotype and those are composed of different traits, i.e. eye color, hair color, certain behaviors. All of these are also coded for by specific genes.
All educated people accept evolution and the theory that explains it. " Evolutionist " is a term not used among biologists. Even if there were no " evolutionists " evolution would still be an observed and observable fact and the theory of evolution by natural selection would still be the best explanation for much of the fact of evolution.
No. Theories are explanations of facts. For instance; evolution is a fact. Allele frequencies change over time in a population of organisms. This is observed and observable. The theory of evolution by natural selection explains how and why evolution happens. Some theories are so well supported that some people blur the line between theory and fact, but best to be precise in these matters I think.
