They both travel the same speed, the speed of light about 300,000 km per second or 186,000 miles per second.
Radio waves ... including microwaves ... and X-rays are different only in wavelength (frequency). The sun radiates all of them.
Xrays. Microwaves for cleaning equipment. The drills. And the cameras (I have forgot the name optical something) they use.
gamma rays, xrays, uv light, visible light, infra red, microwaves, radio waves
All electromagnetic waves move at the same speed, at least in vacuum. X-rays and microwaves ... as well as radio, infrared, ultraviolet, heat, and visible light ... are all electromagnetic waves, and travel at the same speed.
A Worm travels faster than a Snail.
lightning travels faster. Light is faster than sound.
Light and sound travel in waves as do microwaves.
Nothing travels faster than light.
Microwaves ARE radio waves, with frequencies above 3 GHz.
Well the more energy a ray has the faster it goes so i think people are mistaking light the fastest when it is x rays. More energy does not neccessarily make a ray go faster, otherwise you would see the bright part of a picture before you would see the darker parts.
Light travels the fastest, with a speed of 299,792 kilometers per second in a vacuum. Sound travels at around 343 meters per second in air. Microwaves travel slower in glass compared to a vacuum, but their speed is still faster than sound. A rocket in space can travel at speeds up to several kilometers per second, depending on its propulsion system.
Electromagnetic energy includes visible light, X-rays, and microwaves. These forms of energy are all part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which encompasses a wide range of electromagnetic waves with varying frequencies and wavelengths.
