1 centimeter = 10 millimeters
Wiki User
∙ 9y agoCentimetres (cm) is longer than millimetres (mm)
That is because cm is 1/100 of a metre while mm is 1/1000 of a metre.

The most common unit of measurements are mm,m,cm ,km.The best unit of length to measure the length of marker is done in cm ( centimeters).
That is two millimeters.Ten mm equals to 1 cm
By unit of length and distance and conversion ,we can say that 1 cm=10 mm 6.8 cm=68 mm
By unit of length and distance and conversion ,we can say that 1 mm =0.1 cm or 1 cm=10 mm
By unit of length and distance and conversion ,we can say that 1 mm=0.1 cm 191 mm=19.1 cm
mm and cm are not the same unit in math because cm are a bit bigger :D
1 cm = 10 mm to change the smaller unit to the bigger is to divide. so it is 100/10 = 10 cm so there are 10 cm in 100 mm.
The most common unit of measurements are mm,m,cm ,km.The best unit of length to measure the length of marker is done in cm ( centimeters).
Convert everything to the same unit; then you can easily compare. As a reminder, 1 cm = 10 mm.
If you convert all the measurements to the same unit you have:2.5 cm, 20.1 cm, 19.2 cm, 20.3 cm; OR25 mm, 201 mm, 192 mm, 203 mmFrom these you can then clearly see that the longest measurement is then 20.3 cm (which is 203 mm if converted).
10 cm = 100 mm which is bigger than 38.5 mm
5.1 cm would be bigger because 5.1 cm -> mm = 51 mm, which is greater than 50 mm.
No - 30cm is 10 times bigger than 30mm
To determine this, it's best to first convert the lengths to the same unit, either3.4 cm, 3.0 cm; OR34 mm, 30 mmYou can then clearly see that 3.4 cm (which is 34 mm) is the longer of the two measurements, i.e. 3.4 cm > 30 mm
4.4 cm There are 10 mm to each cm. So 4.4 cm is 44 mm.
100.5 mm > 2 cm.To see this, first convert both measurements into lengths of the same unit, either10.05 cm, 2 cm; or100.5 mm, 20 mmThen you can clearly see than 100.5 mm is greater than 2 cm.
90 cm, which equals 900 mm
