Audichya Brahmins are a sub-group of Brahmins primarily found in the western Indian state of Gujarat. They are known for their traditional roles in priesthood and education, often associated with Vedic rituals and scholarship. The Bhargava Gotra is one of the clans within this community, tracing its lineage to Sage Bhrigu, a revered figure in Hindu texts. Members of this gotra often adhere to specific customs and practices that distinguish them within the broader Brahmin community.
