*Zeus: god of the sky, king of the gods, ruler of mankind; brother to Posiedon, Hades, Hera(also her husband), Hestia, and Demeter. Also known as Jupiter.

*Poseidon: god of seas; creator and lover of horses; lord of earthquakes and other natural disasters. Also known as Neptune.

*Hades: god of the underworld and the dead that dwell there.Also known as Pluto.

*Hera: goddess of marriage and childbirth; queen of the gods.

*Demeter: goddess of the crop and agriculture.Also known as Ceres.

*Hestia: goddess of hearth and home; gave up her golden seat on Mount Olympus to Dionysis.

*Athena: goddess of wisdom and strategy, war, andcrafts; daughter of Zeus and a Titaness; was born through Zeus's head.
