• Prince Humperdinck, who conspires to kill Buttercup and blame her death on Guilder in order to start a war

• Count Rugen, the Prince's loyal assistant, who not only slaughters Inigo's father but later tortures Westley

• The R.O.U.S. ("Rodents Of Unusual Size"), who attack Westley and Buttercup in the fire swamp

• Vizzini, a Sicilian who leads a small trio of criminals. He is hired to kidnap and kill Buttercup.

• Inigo Montoya and Fezzik, Vizzini's partners in crime. Although they aren't really villians and are actually the heroes of the story, they start out as bad. Not sure if they should really be counted or not.

• Yellin, Humperdinck's "Chief Of All Enforcement" and the overseer of the Brute Squad.
