In optics, a thin lens is a lens with a thickness (distance along the optical axis between the two surfaces of the lens) that is negligible compared to the focal length of the lens. Lenses whose thickness is not negligible are sometimes called thick lenses.
thin will bend more
Convex lens converges the light and a concave lens diverges the light..
convex lens
A convex lens.
The diffrence between thick and thin lens depends on your precription for your eyes.
Convex lens give a virtual & diminished image while concave lens give inverted virtual in rare case & magnified image.

A concave lens is a lens in which the ends are thicker than the middle, rather shaped like this ---> )( A convex lens is a lens in which the ends are thinner than the middle, shaped like the following ---> ()

The difference between concave and convex is that convex lenses are the type of lens that make images bigger, while concave make images smaller. Still confused, maybe this will help. When you think of concave think of a cave, how you can see a small image at the end of the cave, while convex is the opposite.
Thick because the thicker the lens the further the focal point will be because it will push it more
A convex lens has one flat side and one curved side --> |) A biconvex lens has both sides curved --> ()
Concave lenses are thicker at the edges then at the middle. A Convex lens is a lens that is thicker in the center than at its edges.
The difference is that when virtual image is formed by the concave mirror...it is larger than its original size..but when it is formed by the convex mirror..it is smaller than the original size....
