an emo corner in general refers to a place where an emo kid retreats into a corner, feeling left out or excluded. (sometimes other emo kids join them.) by refering to crona's emo corner in soul eater, maybe the creater or whoever came up w/ the idea is refering to how crona was always alone and excluded as a child, thus leading to him having an "emo corner."
