Thomas Crapper was not the inventor of the flush toilet - this is a misconception. However, he did invent the ball cock that is used in the cistern, and lodged a patent for it along with many other patents for other inventions - but the flush toilet was not among them!

There has been many people listed as inventing the flush toliet such as Thomas Crapper, J.F. Brondel ,and Joseph Bramah.

Thomas Crapper nope not true.

If you read "The history of plumbing" you will see toilets were invented before Thomas was born by over 300 YEARS
