No one discovered it. It's been there since the bronze age,sitting in the isolation of salisbury Plain. Medieval chroniclers knew of it and a few drew rough representations of it.

Stonehenge, like many other prominent archaeological sites was never really "lost" and as such has no specific date for discovery. It has been a feature in the landscape since its creation.
