They both would have a bite force of 1000 lbs per square inch, but the lion would have a slightly stronger bite force than a tiger because it tends to hunt larger prey. A tiger would usually bite the back of the neck of the prey, while a lion would bite the throat.
A lot of users say that lions bite is 950psi and tiger is slightly stronger. The tigers bite is scientificaly 1300pounds and lions is the same. Animal experts did 2 tests .Longer vs shorter face. Shorter face won.However another test was wider vs narrow jaw one. Narrower face won.Tigers jaws are shorter but wider. Lions are longer but narrower.

You cannot measure the real bite of a lion and tiger. Those tests in 950psi and 1000psi was measured in the captivity. A lot of people will say lion , however they are wrong because they are just stupid lion fans that know nothing about a tiger's advantages. The tiger will win because it is stronger! heavier, more agile, bigger, has longer canines, is a better fighter, is smarter, and is not lazy and waits for females to hunt. Tigers rule and lions suck
