No one invented electricity it has alway been with us. Even before people knew hat there was such a thing. People just learned more about it as time went on.

For example in 600 B.C.Thales of Miletus made notes about amber becoming charged by rubbing it , describing what we now call static electricity.

In 1600 AD English scientist, William Gilbert introduced the word "electricity" comming from the Greek word for amber. Gilbert made many notes about the electrification substances in his "De magnete, magneticisique corporibus". nd also introduced the terms electric force, magnetic pole, and electric attraction.

In 1660 AD Otto von Guericke made the first machine designed to produced static electricity.

In1729 AD Stephen Gray made discovery about the conduction of electricity.

And so it went on until the present day people made inventions that used Electricity in its different forms and states of being but no one actually invented it.
