Hula Hoops were invented as well as slinkys and lots of electronics.
They make a slinky type of movement.
Slinky was invented by mechanical engineer Richard James in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a toy and of them were sold within 90 minutes. Slinkys were also used in the Vietnam War, as mobile radio antennas, and are still used today by amateur radio operators for shortwave radio antennas.

80 feet of wire is used to create a metal slinky. Slinkys are awesome
super slinkys are easier to bend notes on
i don't know yet. but u people are all idiots!correction...all people are!
The original slinky in a normal state was 2.5 inches and by 2005 over 300 million had been sold. So that's 750,000,000 inches or 11,882 miles. The Earth at the equator is around 25,000 miles so the slinkys wouldn't even make it half way around the Earth.
yes they our since metal costs more to make then plastic. Plastic slinkies cost about $4
from pictures of telescopes...it looks like a big ball, but with llots of slinkys trying to fall off it creating elegant kind of tangled loops!
i think the metal one would work better because it has better quality
