Spanish evolved from Latin, which was the language spoken by the Ancient Romans. The standard Spanish language is also called Castilian and originated in Northern Spain in the 8th or 9th centuries AD. The language was brought to the Americas and to other places by the Spanish conquistadores.

Spanish did not evolved from latin only but Spanish was put together by monks who had Sephardic ancestry and convert to Catholism ( sepharad is the Hebrew name for Spain-Iberia- Hispania). Yews converts into Christianity meaning monks who were Yewish converts to Christianity. They added Hebrew terms to latin and the Spanish language was born. There are many Hebrew signs in Spanish. Example Manuel= El is a Hebrew term. Al is also Hebrew term as well as Arabic etc.

The development of the Spanish language can be attributed to the evolution of Latin through the influence of various cultures in the Iberian Peninsula, particularly during the Roman occupation. While there is no single individual who can be credited with inventing Spanish, it gradually emerged as a distinct language over time, incorporating elements from different dialects and languages spoken in the region.
