to get the wrinkles out of your clothes
If you mean a suit of armor, it was invented to protect the wearer from enemy weapons. If you mean the clothes iron, it was invented to smooth out wrinkles after the clothes were washed.
Good question.... i would think that jackets were invented at the same time as clothes were (which was in the garden on Eden after Adam and Eve sinned)
It can be traced all the way back to 400 b.c when the Greeks used them
Jackets were inverted long before recorded history, so there is no way of knowing who was the first. No one really knows who invented the jacket. People (when they started wearing clothes) have always realised that in different times of weather need different clothes....so when you ask who invented the jacket....we don't know!!! the jacket is the American and now everyday saying of a jumper or a layer to go over you tee-shirt! So there really isn't a specific person who invented the ''Jacket''
a crab Some dummy thinks a crab invented clothes pegs. Well to be honest I don't know either, but could someone hurry up and answer it properly. Thank you.

A peg can refer to a wooden or metal pin used to fasten or support things, such as hanging up clothes or securing tents. In finance, a peg can also refer to a strategy where a country's currency is fixed to a specific value or rate.
The spring in the clothes peg holds one side, so when pressed, it opens the other side to hold the cloth tight.
