Who invented the fanny pack?
jommy mc boddy made the back pack by using the skin of a pig and had put stickey stuff all around and put pieces on top.
Lumbar packs are designed so that people who have trouble carrying ordinary packs - even a backpack or heavy purse - can still carry a pack. In that regard, it's probably best for people with back problems. It's fairly similar in design to a fanny pack, so someone who would be happy with a fanny pack would also likely be happy with a lumbar pack.
That depends greatly on whether you mean "fanny" in the American sense (rear end, or "derrière" in French) or in the British sense (lady parts, or "chatte" in French). Fun fact: you should not refer to a small pouch worn around your waist as a "fanny pack" in Britain, Australia, or other countries that are more British than American in their use of the English language.
