This man is known now as "the father of the playstation." In the late 1980s, Nintendo and Sony had struck a deal (created by this man) to start using CD-rom technology for a new console. The deal was broken when the CEO of Nintendo realized that Sony would be gaining more from the venture than his own company. Sony would have gained control over the game titles for the new CD-rom software and possible console.
