In my 44 years of working on bicycles I have never seen a pulley other than a Sturmey Archer frame mount pulley for a 3 speed hub. Those were strictly Sturmey Archer brand. Unless, you are referring to a derailleur pulley in which case there are several brands. What is the best, is relative to the application.
