Who is Grover from the book the lightning thief?

Grover is a mythological creature, a satyr. A satyr is a man from the waist up and a goat from the waist down. They have the legs, feet, and horns of a goat. They are strong believers in Pan, god of the wild. They are afraid of going underground, and they love nature.
