I wish I knew as we also have one of his paintings...I also have a 3'x2' oil by L.Keswick. My husband purchased it in Florida. It is of a little redhaired girl sitting in the sand dunes peeking out at the ocean. She is wearing a white straw hat w/blue ribbon around it and a white blouse w/ blue skirt w/straps criscrossed in back. Her back is to the observer. There are 4 seagulls flying- 2 up close and 2 in distance. Is this one of the paintings you are talking about? It's a beautiful painting. I'm wondering if this Keswick did many of the same picture and sent them to these art shows they have in hotel lobbies, etc. Oh well, it's still beautiful and very soothing.
Well one of his or her paintings has shown up in our shop in Englewood, FL. The painting we have has 5 sea gulls, a little girl sitting on the beach and a lady standing by her with a long three layered sheer dress on. They are both wearing hats and are both looking at the water. Very Interesting!
L. Keswick paintings do not have a high value, even though some would argue he paints beautifully. Currently, the value of his work varies between $40.00 and $150.00.
