Simon is originally a chior member, but is very odd, the other boys think he is "batty". He suffers from fainting fits (epilepsy?) and is very prophetic. Could Golding have wanted him to symbolise a Jesus figure?
In "Lord of the Flies" by William Golding, it is Simon who discovers that the figure they have mistaken for the "beast" during a storm is actually a dead paratrooper. Simon is a character known for his empathy and deeper understanding of the situation on the island.
The book simply described the dead body as a 'figure' which is attached to a parachute. Whether it was a paratrooper or more likely a pilot who had ejected from a damaged plane is never mentioned. The name of the figure is never mentioned either.
He is involved in an airplane crash that leaves him stranded on a deseart island. He witnesses the Lord of the Flies during a seizure and it either torn apart or beaten to death by the other boys and is washed out to sea afterwards.
simon does after he talked with the lord of the flies.
sam does
In "Lord of the Flies," it is Simon who is tending the fire when the boys' fear of the beast emerges. As the boys mistake a dead paratrooper for the beast and flee, Simon remains at the scene and discovers the truth about the figure on the mountain.
simon.........the dead paratrooper
The "Beastie" is the evil inside everyone of the boys. This evil is the force that kills Simon. In physical identity, the boys mistook a dead paratrooper for a jungle "Beastie"
Read the book really....
read the book and stop being lazy !
How is Simon from lord of the flies?
In "The Lord of Flies", Simon finds the body of the dead paratrooper and becomes sick at the smell of the rotting corpse. He frees the parachute line and runs to tell the others about the body, but they mistake him for the beast and beat him to death.
Lord of the Flies was created on 1954-09-17.
It means you are so stupid you watch the 'Lord of the Rings'. Really? That was a dumb question.
Well, no one really discovered them, but the person who breed them was a man in Scotland named the Lord Tweedmouth. They were breed to hunt lowland birds.
Not really nice. Read the book, you'll like it
