yellowfang is an old, gray she-cat. (WARNING: SPOILERS) she gets into a fight with firepaw in the book into the wild and eventually becomes the clan's medicine cat she later gets trapped in a fire- where fireheart (got his warrior name) has to choose between saving the son of tigerclaw bramblekit or the always faithful but slightly flea-bitten she-cat yellowfang. unfortunately, yellowfang refuses to leave because she goes and says "im to old, that kit is young and full of life" (not a direct quote, but you get the idea) so fireheart grants her last wish, and saves bramblekit- later brambleclaw. sorry, got talkitive, but yellowfang is a flea-bitten old gray she-cat that came from shadowclan that eventully ended up as thunderclan's medicine cat.
