Well, like Venom, Carnage is half man, half alien. His alien half is the offspring of Venom, and his human half was the cell-mate of Eddie Brock, AKA Venom, durring the brief period that he lost his alien half (what made him Venom). Unlike Venom, he isn't as strong, or as powerful. However, some things about him is that, unlike Venom, Carnage can actually create weapons (bats, knives, maces, etc.). This works well for him, because before he was a supervillain, he was the psycotic killer, Cletus Cassidy. Another unique ability is that he has the abbility to suck the life from people. He got his alien suit when Brock's suit returned to him, breaking down the entire cell, but leaving a bit of itself behind. Recently, Carnage was ripped in two by another super hero, The Sentry, and his peices were thrown into orbit.

Carnage is Cletus Kasady, a former cell mate of Eddie Brock's. Cletus became Carnage as a result of the remnant symbiote that was left behind as a result of Eddie's escape from prison and because of which he will usually be seen with Venom as they try to put an end to Spider-Man.
