Yes, Sonic is faster. He can go at the speed of light, and if they were in a running race Shadow couldn't even go because he skates. He doesn't run. He has rocket shoes.

Well i think they are evenly matched although in the shadow the hedgehog instruction manuel it says that shadow can easily match sonic's speed,and whoever wrote the second answer... WHO THE HELL TOLD U THAT
