Heaven is union with God, it is more a state of being than a place. Obviously, God is in control of everything, but on earth, He has allowed free will, and thus there is sin, but in heaven, everything is in conformity with the Will of God, thus, obviously, He is in control.

∙ 9y agoIf heaven exists and is the paradise imagined by religious leaders, God is in control of heaven. The popular perception of the fall of Satan should mean that God is not in absolute control of heaven, since it is possible for angels such as Satan to rebel against God, with a rational hope of success.
If heaven is an imaginary religious construct, developed over the last several thousand years to give the faithful hope for an afterlife and to encourage obedience to religious teachings, then those religious leaders are in control of heaven.

∙ 9y agoContrary to what most believe, the controlling force in heaven is not a personality but a non-living, infinite higher power that many refer to as The Light, The Breath of God, and The Light of God. Near-death experience research and inter-life regression research both validate this spiritual truth. The Light has always existed, it preceded the Universe, and was even around before the emergence of consciousness and eventual God Consciousness that led to using it to manifest The Big Bang. The Light is what enables reality to emerge in the first place from nothingness in linear time. Without The Light there can be no stars, planets, souls, or a rarefied but not infinite Space God/Original Creator/Lord Alpha Omega (who has yet to come) to use it to manifest a Universe. Quoted from an NDE research conclusions site: "The choices we make in life matter deeply. Life is a golden opportunity to live a spiritual life in a world of darkness. Life is very important because how we have lived our life largely determines how far we can go into the light." Souls must spiritually evolve in order to expand their consciousness in The Light after they cross over into the primary reality of Spirit.
