Mizuki was shown only a few times in the series. He was a teacher like Iruka, and had tried to betray the village along with attempting to kill Iruka and Naruto. Naruto stood up for his teacher and that's how he became a ninja in the first place!

The Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, was a host of the Sanbi. The sanbi is one of the tailed beasts that the Akatsuki were after. Sanbi means "three tails". The sanbi is a cross between a shrimp and a turtle. The current Mizukage is a female.

Mizuki is on of the exam tutors in the shin obi exam but because naruto didn't pass the exam he told naruto that the only other way he could pass was by learning Justus from the scroll of sealing (a scroll that had secrets contained by the first hokage)
But of course this was not true as Mizuki wanted to turn the whole village against naruto and to get naruto killed so Mizuki could keep all the powers of the scroll of sealing for himself.
Mizuki also was the man who told Naruto about the daemon nine tailed fox that was sealed inside of naruto.
But in the end Mizuki got caught and naruto made him pay ;p

What is the naruto story-line?
Naruto is about a boy named Naruto Uzumaki that has a fox demon inside of him who dreams of becoming Hokage. Ever since he entered th Ninja Academy, he had hated Sasuke Uchiha, and loved Sakura Haruno. To graduate from the Ninja Academy and try to become a full-fledged ninja, Naruto has to complete a successful Clone Jutsu (Bunshin no Jutsu), Naruto's worst jutsu. One of the senseis, Mizuki, tries to "help" Naruto and tells him to steal the Sacred Scroll from the Hokage Residence and learn one jutsu from that scroll, and he would pass the graduation test. Naruto steals the scroll and learns his one of his most famous jutsu, Shadow Clone Justsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu). Iruka-sensei, Naruto's teacher, finds him and tries to stop him, knowing that Mizuki made Naruto steal the scroll. Mizuki tries to kill Iruka, and Naruto gets furious. He says, "If you ever hurt my sensei, I'll kill you!" Then, using Mass Shadow Clone Jutsu (A version of Shadow Clone Jutsu where there are thousands of clones), Naruto defeats Mizuki. Impressed by Naruto's skill, Iruka lets Naruto graduate. Naruto is assigned to a team with Sakura and Sasuke, with their Sensei being Kakashi Hatake. Then..umm e_e'...they...go off on a tonn of adventures and crap like that....
