Philonecron is a fictional character in the Cronus Chronicles series.

His name literally translates from Greek "Lover of Death".

He has impeccable taste, and won't settle for anything less than the finest, most lavish material items.

Because his father was a demon, he has the ability to practice dark magic usually involving blood. This, coupled with his talent for manipulating others for his own benefit, make him a formidable enemy to the main characters in the series.

He is a megalomaniac, and a bit of a narcissist.

Despite all this he's a very charismatic character, and his role in the series ultimately enriches the hilarity factor of the whole thing.
