Jezzebel was the most wicked person ever mentioned in The Bible. If there is someone who is very mean or rude, you might often here someone call them "Jezzabel" because of the way they act.
Jezebel (Revelation 2:20).
Jezebel
Jezebel was thrown from a window and the dogs ate her (2 Kings 9:30-37).
Revelation 2. Chapter 3........ KJV Bible
Jezebel refers symbolically to Ahab's wife who was wicked and deceptive. Likewise, the comparison here is to a person or influence that seduces churches away from Christ.
No. But her evil spirit seems to continue as we see in Revelation 2.20
1. The book of Revelation was written for, and addressed to, various angels. 2:1, 8,12, 18 2. He (John or Jesus) knows "even where Satan's seat is." 2:13 3. Jesus will kill Jezebel's children. 4. Those who obey God/Jesus until the end will rule everyone else with an iron rod and smash those who disobey to shrivers. 2:26-27 5. Jesus will search your kidneys and hearts. 2:23
You can read about Jezebel in the Bible. Her account is found in both 1 and 2 Kings within the Hebrew-Aramaic scriptures (the old testament). At 1 Kings 16:31, Jezebel is taken as Ahab's wife. Then in chapter 21 verse 23 of 1 Kings, Jehovah God speaks of what will become of Jezebel. Then beginning at 2 Kings 9:30 we read of the last moments and death of Jezebel.
