Protagonist- Leo Bloom because he's the only character that changes his personality. He changes from a quiet accountant to a producer with courage, and is not afraid to take the girl and run to Rio.

Antagonist- Max Bialystock because although he might be the main character, his personality does not change. Max Bialystock isn't the antagonist because his personality never changed, he's the antagonist because he sold twenty-five thousand percent of Springtime for Hitler. Leo isn't really all that pure either--he WAS the one who came up with the idea of overselling a bad play. If you insisted you could probably justify calling Leo a protagonist, but he was up to his ears in the swindle too.
