Need a detailed description of all markings, features, sn, accessories, box, papers, etc.. Name of maker should be on the barrel.
Do you not have an owner's manual? Have you tried an internet search on "rifle cleaning procedures"?

Remington never made a 35 caliber lever action rifle, you have a rifle by some other manufacturer in 35 Remington, who's?
Normally a rifle chambered for .243 Winchester would be built on a short action.
Step 1 is always to clear the rifle- that is, to check, and insure that the rifle is unloaded, and that there is no ammunition in the chamber OR in the magazine. Where possible, leave the action of the rifle open.
The H&R model 300 Ultra Rifle is a bolt action, repeating rifle. Typically built on a FN or Sako action, but possible other manufacture of actions. Generally considered a good quality rifle.
Any brand of firearms cleaning solvent will do the job.
It can be built on either. On the short action you won't be able to get the benefit of the 130g or larger.
The KAR98K is a Bolt-action rifle, built from 1935 to 1945 in Germany.
To disassemble a Browning Model 1886 lever action rifle for cleaning, first ensure the rifle is unloaded. Then, remove the barrel by loosening the magazine tube band and sliding the magazine tube forward. Next, remove the lever by pushing out the lever pivot pin and then taking out the bolt and carrier. Finally, clean all components thoroughly before reassembling the rifle in the reverse order.
I have no listing of a rifle by that manufacturer, but a similar name is Meriden. They manufactured firearms for Sears, and made the Model 15 slide (pump) action rifle from 1912 to 1918, when the company closed. This is a link to the website that has photos of the rifle in question- see if yours looks like this. http://www.meridenfirearms.com/rifle.html
Accoring to the manufacturer, the 528 Bolt Action .22 was manufactured from 1967 through 1983. See the related link for further information.
