It was his way of saying "goodbye" to the fans and to his friends and singing partners in THE MIRACLES, BOBBY ROGERS, PETE MOORE , and RONNIE WHITE. It was taken from The Miracles' final studio album with Smokey, "FLYING HIGH TOGETHER".
