Who is the second avenger?

There are far too many characters in the Marvel Universe to come to a conclusive answer for this question, especially being asked to choose the "second" most powerful hero, lol.

The second most powerful *character* would have to the Living Tribunal, who is subordinate only to the One Above All(and both of whom may-or-may-not be Celestials in other forms: the One Above All shares the same name as the Celestial leader, and the Living Tribunal would be Arishem the Judge, etc).

But as for *heroes*, the scale goes all the way down the line from there, lol...complicated again by having to choose the *second* most powerful hero, then deciding who to consider as "heroes", etc.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the second Avenger to join the group is Black Widow, also known as Natasha Romanoff. She made her debut appearance in the Iron Man 2 movie before joining the Avengers team.
