The invincibility fable is a psychological concept often associated with adolescents, characterized by a belief that one is immune to risks and negative consequences that affect others. This cognitive bias can lead young individuals to engage in risky behaviors, as they underestimate the likelihood of harm befalling them. The fable contributes to a sense of invulnerability, making it difficult for adolescents to recognize the potential dangers in their actions. Ultimately, it plays a role in shaping their decision-making processes during a critical developmental stage.
