Yes, I just read that Wikipedia article as well ._.

Anyways, Perdix was the one who was turned into the Patridge, when he fell off of the cliff. Daedalus died simply of old age.

They were looking at a sunset and he heard a whisper saying Talos is perfect isn't he. You love him more that your own son. He then got aggravated and he grabbed him and started spinning. He didn't know what he was doing. Talos was hanging on to the roof when Daedalus realized what was going on. He grabbed Talos and tried to pull him but it was too late. Talos fell and died the instant he hit the ground.

Daedalus died of old age, just like any other person, because he was not a god. People just merely thought he was a god because of his outstretched hand made wings,
