What is the time of prayer?
You can pray any time , but some pray in the morning and at night. In the name of Allah Almighty. The above answer is totally wrong and misleading. The times for the FIVE obligatory prayers are as under:1. Fajr (Dawn) Prayer: Start time: Break of dawn. End time: Sunrise.2. Zuhar (afternoon): --"----------: about One hour after noon time(12:00 hrs local time of the place.End time:When the shadows grow twicethe size of original thing.3. Asr (Late Afternoon prayer): Just after the Zuhr prayer uptill sunset4. Evening Prayer: Just after sunset to one hour and twenty minutes.5. Isha (Night prayer): Just after the evening prayer till mid-night.Anyhow, in case of some problem one may offer this prayer till aboutfive minutes before Dawn prayer.Note: Ahl-i-Sunna generally offer prayers in the middle of the given times. The Ahl-i- Hadith offer prayers in the beginning of the times. However, there is no hard and fast difference between the two.May Allah Almighty bless us with the ability to offer prayers and follow the Teachings of Islam in letter and spirit. A'meen. It is very humbly requested that the Answers pertaining to any religion should be given by the scholars of that particular religion. Religious matters are very sensitive, therefore, extra care should be taken in answering those questions. I would suggest that only those answers should be saved which are answered by people who are at least the follower of that religion. It is further requested that the person answering the question must write his/her name along with qualifications.Prof. Muhammad Aslam Gondal.
